Asheville’s #1 Maternity & Newborn Photographer shares a look at a Beautiful Maternity Photoshoot in Asheville!
Over the last 14 years, I’ve photographed several dozen couples visiting Asheville for their Babymoon! When Mitchell contacted me to arrange a surprise Maternity Photoshoot in Asheville for his sweet bride, Chloe while they would be visiting for their Babymoon, I was delighted to help! (I love to plot and plan surprises for people! It’s one of the great thrills of my life! 😜)
What an incredibly sweet, thoughtful surprise gift from her husband!
We pulled out all the stops for Chloe, arranging hair and makeup with our trusted partner, Beauty by Iliana at our Biltmore Village Portrait Studio ahead of her session and we ordered two gorgeous, couture Maternity Gowns for her to wear during the session! 😍
We shot this session in two parts! Chloe has always spoken about wanting a Studio Maternity Session and Mitchell also thought it might be special to visit Biltmore Estate to shoot with the Azaleas and to capture some of these beautiful, Blue Ridge Mountain views while we were at it! (I’ll share that part in a later post!) I love this sweet session and I hope you do too!

Maternity & Newborn Photography Information
Set Design: In addition to solid backdrops, floral backdrops, studio lighting and digital backdrops, I also really life lifestyle sets for a more intimate feel. I loved this boho inspired lifestyle set up for the studio in 2023. I will be changing the lifestyle set for the studio dramatically in 2024 and I’m really excited about the changes coming for the studio space & set design!
