I can’t tell you how lucky I feel to have Biltmore Estate in my backyard!

I photograph many local Asheville families as well as vacationing families at Biltmore each year.

It’s the perfect location for family portraits at any time of year because the grounds are sprawling with hundreds of acres of manicured lawns, gardens, trails and pathways. The Estate obviously boasts historic architecture but it also has lovely Blue Ridge Mountain Views, ponds, rolling hills, giant old growth trees, an incredible garden and observatory and in the summer — sunflowers fields as far as the eye can see! 😉

Angie booked me for Milestone Sessions for Layton this year and our first session together was in September during the last bloom of the Sunflowers at Biltmore! I am totally obsessed with this dreamy sunset light, these sunflowers and the love between this mama and her baby girl!

Milestone Sessions are a great (and economical) way to document your children and family throughout the year! It’s 4 petite portrait sessions in a year. This is traditionally booked during baby’s first year BUT you could book the Milestone Sessions to document a child of any age OR imagine this: you have the children, the each get a portrait session of their own around their birthday AND a family session during the year!
