Pregnancy Photographer based in Asheville, NC shares a look at a summer, lakeside Maternity Session shot at Lake James, just outside of Asheville!

Hannah Whitesides feels like Sunshine. Anyone who knows her would tell you the same…

I love Hannah so, so much!! I’ve always felt this way about her, she’s such an incredibly special human being! It has been such a treasure to be part of the biggest milestones in her life over the last few years!! Needless to say, when Hannah + Josh let me now that they were expecting their first baby, I was positively delighted to help them to document this incredibly special season of their lives as well!

Hannah + Josh are self described “Lake People”! They own a boat, the live on Lake Wylie and Hannah grew up spending her summers on Lake James which is in her home town, Marion — which is just about 45 min outside of Asheville! They wanted to shoot a ‘Lake Maternity Session’ so we met up at Lake James a few weeks before her due date (and it’s a good thing because little Ms. Austin Beth made her grand entrance about a week later!) 😉

My favorite thing about this session was that Hannah was totally game to get into the water at the end of her session! And these photos are everything! Enjoy!
