Asheville Family Photographer specializing in Imaginative Children’s Portraits shares a look at an adorable sunflower themed Child Portrait Session shot at Biltmore Estate in September
I don’t often share too many “personal” images on my website or business social feeds but these images of my son were just too cute not to share! 🙂
About a month ago, I photographed a client and her precious baby girl in the final sunflower bloom of the season at Biltmore Estate. It was so beautiful shooting in the warm autumn sunset there that day that I was inspired to bring my own little love out the following day for a styled shoot that I’d been working on in my imagination!
Almost a year ago, I was at a family member’s home and noticed this adorable, vintage Massey Ferguson Ride on Tractor and asked if I could borrow it for a shoot sometime!
Noah Atlas, my son, my only baby (and love of my life) is 5.5 (almost 6 – in late February) and the days of him allowing me to put him in overalls (or whatever I want) are almost completely gone so when I found these cute little Liberty Overalls in his size at the Wee Trade this summer, I couldn’t help myself, I had to have them for one last shoot with my dude before he’s too big! 😉
It’s a strange thing, being the child of a professional photographer — you’re simultaneously the most well documented child and also, more often than not, mom’s so busy shooting pictures for everyone else that she neglects pulling out that work camera to create the art of your childhood, opting instead for iPhone pics most of the time! 😉 I do try really hard to be intentional about pulling out my camera for a session with my boy, at least once per quarter and this was it for the end of summer 2022! 🙂
Fun Fact: Liberty Overalls will be featuring these images on their website, social feeds and Advertisements soon! 🙂
